Logistics Coordinator

Key responsibilities:

• Schedule and execute container bookings in line with the Purchase Orders received from customers.
• Issue export documentation and packing lists
• Liaise with the company's load masters in the management of container loading. 
• Advise the Supply Chain Coordinator of issues concerning Sea Logistics Management Report.
• Manage the stock-on-hand levels of sea freight packaging material & seals
• Communicate with government agencies & transport contractors regarding the import and export documentations of goods.
• Ensure that the appropriate document files are maintained on every import or export consignment for the purpose of customs audits, supplier claims and company QA audits.
• Maintain reports of container movements on a daily basis.

  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Internal Audit Manager

  • Planning and performing operational and financial audits within the various business units under MGCC
  • Strengthen the departments with the proper recommendation of development strategy .
  • Prepares timely audit reports for executive management and board directors which contains high-level risks and recommendations and actions.
  • Travelling to various sites of MGCC to meet relevant staff and obtain documents and information.
  • Take responsibility for executing action plans in timely manner in accordance with audit control and policies 
  • Provide a structured audit plan for each business unit to ensure gaps are recognized and compliance is delivered

Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Accountabilities:

  1. Safety regulations and precautions pertaining to the servicing and repair of heavy equipment and fire/emergency response equipment.
  2. Diagnoses and repairs computer controlled systems, electrical systems, brakes, steering, suspensions, transfer cases, transmission, hydraulic systems, heavy equipment.
  3. Maintains accurate and complete work records.
  4. Overhaul diesel-powered engines.
  5. Safe and proper use of assigned equipment and tools.
  6. Basic mathematics
  7. Ensures tidiness and cleanliness of workshop facilities and all equipment for which his team is responsible

Safety Officer

Responsibilities

  • Monitor implementation of all related HSE procedures, plans and polices at site.
  • Fully aware of all preparation of HSE statistics during execution of the project.
  • Monitor the safety performance of all on-site workers to ensure that all workers on the site work in a safe manner .
  • Encourage and educate employees to take precautions and adhere to safety rules to protect themselves and the equipment they use from damage
  • Identify and review various health and safety concerns specific to the work site and ensure construction site activities do not put non-construction site people outside of the site at risk
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and enforce OH&S legislation and codes of practice
  • Conduct HSE trainings for senior and junior officials at site.
  • Ensure daily risk assessments are being conducted as per company policy
  • Update and display safety policies and pertinent information on the company bulletin board.
  • Establishing inspection schedules for all tools, major equipment, lifting devices and mobile equipment to ensure safe operating conditions and compliance with current regulations
  • Assist injured workers in obtaining Modified Duties and administer the return to work policy.

 

Education, Knowledge, skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2- 5 years of experience as Safety Officer for Traffic Diversion and Pilling works.
  • NEBOSH IGC is mandatory
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum one year diploma in safety
  • IOSH, OSHA advantage
  • Must be up to date with legal and technological developments
  • Advanced computer skills with experience using software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point (beneficial but not required)
  • Have good communication and negotiating skills
  • Have a good level of physical fitness and stamina, be able to cope under pressure
  • Must have the ability to keep confidential information
